Welcome to World Acne Day
Join us on May 7th to change the narrative around acne.
Acne is not just a teenage phase—it’s a chronic inflammatory disease that affects millions worldwide, leaving physical scars and emotional wounds. At World Acne Day, we aim to shatter myths, spread awareness, and ensure every acne sufferer has access to proper medical care.
Founded by Dr. Rahul Nagar, a pioneer in acne management, this global movement begins with you. Let’s make May 7th a day to educate, empower, and inspire.
About World Acne Day
World Acne Day, observed annually on May 7th, is a global initiative to raise awareness about acne as a chronic inflammatory disease. Launched by Acne Care Clinic under the leadership of Dr. Rahul Nagar, this campaign seeks to dispel myths, promote scientific understanding, and advocate for accessible, effective acne treatments.
Why May 7th?
On May 7, 1982, the FDA approved Isotretinoin, a groundbreaking medication that revolutionized acne treatment. This date symbolizes hope and progress for millions of acne sufferers worldwide.
Our Mission
- Educate the public about acne’s medical and psychological impacts.
- Challenge stereotypes that trivialize acne as a mere cosmetic issue.
